Design
Our design capabilities cover process, product and equipment including tools and patterns.
Our design capability for part-to-tool design conversion is compatible with a spectrum of software platforms. Input CAD data can be direct part files in Pro-E, Catia, IGES or STEP format.
Tool design is either in-house or vendor-sourced by our design department as a part of its overall responsibility.
Proto Sampling & Patterning
Wooden patterns for quick proto-part development are CNC-machined. Since it is a five-axis machine, under-cuts are easily generated.
For sample parts, wood is used as a tool and this can produce 10 to 25 sample parts. If ciba wood is used, 50 sample parts can be prepared.
The Sample goes to the client for process and product integration testing and approval.
Tooling
MPC has established and developed a worldwide network of specialist tool makers who supply premium-grade, cast-aluminum tools for applications ranging from the automotive and construction segment to the HVAC and medical segment.
The type of aluminum alloy chosen for casting is based on the final product's quality parameters. All tools will have cooling lines.
For orders that are lower in volume, fiberglass and epoxy tooling is used. This is done in- house. Low volume orders range from 100 to 50,000 sets or pieces.
Vacuum Forming
We deploy the latest vacuum-forming technology.
Three machines having a capacity of 2.0 m into 1.0 m and 1 machine with capacity of 2.5 m into 1.5 m is what MPC uses to form smaller, less complicated parts.
All machines are PLC-controlled, with sandwich heating, pre-blow facility, plug assists, sheet temperature sensors and blow sensors among other features.
CNC Router Machines
Parts are trimmed using trim fixtures with trim guides, an innovation developed in-house.
We use five-axis CNC trimming on routers for which all the requisite part-holding fixtures have been developed in-house.
We have two CNC Router machines with a bed size of 3.0 m X 1.5 m into 0.6 m (5 axis) and one machine with a bed size of 3.0 m X 3.0 m X 0.5 m (5 axis).
Programming is also in-house.
CNC Robotic Machine
The CNC Robotic machine has a bed size of 1.0 m X 1.1 m X 0.6 m (6 axis) with 2 tables.
Programming is also in-house.
Ultrasonic Welding

Value Addition - Assembly
Bonding and complete sub assembling of in house or externally sourced components forms a integral part of our value added process.
Paint Booth
MPC has an ultramodern paint booth offerring Class A surface finish to ensure a world-class appearance.
Equipped with 5 micron filters for optimal environmental impact, it offers a positive downdraft with powerful suction blowers.
